BOUNDARIES:

Boundaries The Dating Game or 'Boundaries' for short is the debut title from Valhalla Apps Ltd, founded in 2025 by Chris — a Military Veteran, Paramedic, and Psychology student.

Originally, the game was designed as part of a university project set by a psychology class as part of a course that Chris was doing whilst serving in the Military. The aim was to explore human behaviour, explore relationships and look for patterns within certain demographics.

Chris designed the game as a way to better understand personal relationships within diverse cultures and beliefs. Furthermore, the idea was that using the data collected, Chris could gather statistics on certain parameters such as age, gender etc and identify patterns and develop an idea of social norms.

However, Chris was surprised at the experiment's outcome and his discoveries during the experiment led him to realise that his pre-held ideas and presumptive stereotypes were wildly inaccurate!

Over the years, the game continued to develop as Chris explored it with other like-minded individuals and found it was often useful in learning more about potential dates. Having used dating websites in the past, Chris found them quite monotonous and dull and always disliked the constant small talk with back and forth. Often, when trying to learn about the other person, some would misrepresent themselves which would occasionally lead to heart ache and a lingering distrust of people and the system.

Yet, by using his 'game' he could bypass certain social awkwardness and barriers and ascertain if he had anything in common with them or even if they were compatible. And so, 'Boundaries the Dating Game' came to be and was essentially 'Beta tested' for several years before Chis finally sat down and decided to develop it into an app for others to enjoy!

WHAT IS BOUNDARIES THE DATING GAME?

Boundaries is a bold, adults-only dating game designed to help you get to know someone new, or rekindle the spark with someone you already know. It's a deep dive into chemistry, compatibility, and connection — with a twist.

Whether you're exploring something new or moving out of the friend zone, Boundaries takes the pressure off the awkward first date. The game builds trust, encourages honesty, and helps you figure out quickly if you're genuinely connecting — or wasting time.

The hope is that by playing this game before meeting in person (maybe after matching on a dating site or wishing to move out of the friend zone), it removes the social anxiety and awkwardness of that first date.

With “Boundaries” you can get to know your partner pretty well and pretty quickly in a safe and secure environment, by delving into each others psyche, you can weed out the crazies and incompatibles whilst making sure you and your partner have similar interests and things in common.

The game consists of 20 levels with the option for more.

As the name suggests, “Boundaries” is designed to push players beyond their comfort zone and explore their limits in a safe and confidential environment.

The first thing to understand about “Boundaries” is that it is not for the faint-hearted. It is designed to get to know one another and identify where a person’s boundaries lie.

The basic game DOES NOT involve any native sexual content or sexually suggestive content. If you are looking for the 'Spicier 18+'' version which does include sexual content then see 'BOUNDARIES 18 + 'SPICY' WEB BASED VERSION' below.

The game must remain completely confidential. At no time should any information be shared with third parties; this is a crucial aspect of the game as it helps build trust.

The messaging function of the game includes end to end encryption so no-one including game developers can access or view your messages!

We do not support or encourage screen shot behaviour and have employed methods to prevent it:

            • On the Android App version we block it completely
             it is not possible to take screen shots in game.

            • On the iOS Apple App version we monitor any attempt to take a screen shot
             and whilst we can't prevent it due to Apple's restrictions,
             we do record any attempt and issue automatic warnings.
             Repeated offences lead to account deletion and banning of players.

The game is meant to be fun but also push you to your limits. There are built in safety features that allow players to pause or stop gameplay if things get too much or a player feels their 'Boundary' has been reached.

Due to limitations on sexual content within the Apple Store and Play Store we are only able to offer the 'Vanilla' version of Boundaries in the form of an App. This game is perfectly fine as it is and still achieves the main goals for users and promisies hours of fun and enjoyment.

However, if players are looking for a little more 'Spicier' content then Valhalla Apps is proud to offer 'BOUNDARIES 18+'.

The 18+ version is exactly the same as the 'Vanilla' version in terms of layout and game play. However, the 18+ version offers additional content of a sexual and sexually suggestive nature.

Players do NOT need buy both versions. If you have bought and downloaded an App version then you can play the Web version for free with the same 'levels' and gameplay you already have. NO extra charges!!

If you don't have the App version and still want to play, you can! Just purchase the web version from the 'BOUNDARIES SHOP' in the navigation bar above. (However, if you purchase the web version and later decide you want to play the App version, you will need to purchase the app seperately due to App store limitations.)
